Bybee has made several significant improvements to the Bybee AC Conditioner. These improvements offer a significant leap forward in performance and current delivery. Now even the most current hungry amps will perform at their best. The improvements include:

• Upgraded chassis - Cutsom machined, aluminum chassis with black anodized top, bottom and sides with a custom milled aluminum faceplate.
• Upgraded internal wiring - Bybee has partnered with Kaplan Cable, and they have graciously agreed to allowed them to use their 10 awg wire to connect all internal components.
• Upgraded AC Receptacles - We are now using the Hubbell 5262 heavy duty receptacles instead of the contractor grade receptacles previously used.
• Upgraded stock power cord - Bybee's partnership with Kaplan Cables has also allowed them to offer a much improved power cord that ships with the AC conditioner. At no extra charge, a Kaplan H.E. power cord ships with the Bybee AC conditioner. The Kaplan AC cord is constructed of the same wire used internally on the Bybee AC conditioner.
• Upgraded heavy duty circuit breaker
• Upgraded AC filtering - Now each of the four duplex receptacles has additional filtering. Lowering the noise floor further, and isolating the receptacles from one another

This is the replacement for the original Bybee/Curl Pro AC conditioner. So what improvements are there in the Bybee Wire Power Purifier? The original Bybee/Curl Pro's main components were the large Bybee Quantum Purifiers — still widely used by OEM manufacturers, modification services and DIY'ers, this new design replaces those original devices with Jack Bybee's 'Super Effect' Internal AC Bullets. The same devices used in Bybee's renouned Speaker and IC Bullets. So Will the Bybee Power Purifier work with the existing Bybee products in my system?

Umm, YES! and how. The Bybee Power Purifier synergizes very well with the Speaker and IC bullets in our experience. If your gear has the Copper or Gold Bybee and Bybee Slipstream product inside, you may consider removing them, as the new quantum purification is so superior that the older products may ultimately inhibit the full performance of the new Bybee Super Effect Purifiers.

Does powering the Bybee Wire Power Purifier with aftermarket Power Cords affect the sound of the AC Conditioner?

Yes, the power cord you use to power the Bybee Power Purifier will ultimately affect the tone and character of your entire system. Customers have reported that the Kaplan HS Power cords, as well as the JPS Aluminata (which we do carry, Call us) works very well with the Bybee AC conditioner.

Are dynamics limited by the Bybee AC conditioner?

How long is the Break in time?

The Bybee Power Purifier needs a substantial amount of time to break in.  We recommend the unit will need at least 300 hours of use on it before it reaches a fully broken in state.  If you leave the unit unpowered for more than a week, it will need 24 hours or so to warm back up again. If you move it to a new system, it will need 6-8 hours to settle in.

Call or email us to arrange an in-home audition of a fully broken in Bybee Power Purifier. We pay for shipping to you, you are responsible for return shipping. Please plan to have the Power Purifier in your system 2 days before the actual audition in order for it to settle in properly. If you need to keep the conditioner 1 or 2 weeks, that is perfectly fine, just let us know so we know how to schedule auditions that will be following yours.
