The Pro-9 Reference is Harmonic Technology's best copper speaker cable. It is 9 AWG, 6 nines pure, single crystal copper, and uses their unique Balanced Field Geometry for maximum signal transfer while greatly reducing inductance and capacitance.

What you will hear
Balance and musicality are the strong points of this cable. The Pro-9 Reference SE 2009 offers up tight bass, that is scary dynamic and tuneful. The midrange is exceptionally rich and holographic, with tremendous musicality and harmonic completeness. Vocals are extremely vivid, and positioned slightly in front of the speakers with the right recording. The highs are very smooth and organic, without the artificial "zing" that is so often experienced with lesser loudspeaker cables. Harmonic Technology has delivered a speaker cable that allows the soundstage to bloom as large as your room, with a holographic depth and roundness you simply must experience.

My 2 cents
This cable has what I call the "relaxation factor". You will find yourself actually relaxing and enjoying music, not trying to pick out flaws. Music emerges with a "lit from within" quality that possesses a rightness about it. Is it the most resolving speaker cable? No. Is it the most musically engaging? I would say it is one of a handful, and at this price that is a huge accomplishment. If you want the same musicality with more resolution, plan on spending at least 4 times as much.
