The Veena
Standing at about 36" high, Veena is a relatively small floor standing loudspeaker.
Drivers are precisely grouped on the critically sloped front baffle for perfect time alignment for the most coherent musical presentation.
Hand built in their own facilities in Kitchener, Ontario, References 3 A's new main driver is fast, dynamic and very responsive as the signal received from the amplifier arrives directly as there are no crossover components to interrupt. Forthe tweeter, a simple custom manufactured multiple flat-plate paper-in-oil capacitor is used as the high pass filter for delicate and detailed high frequencies. Densely constructed cabinets are perfectly tuned, have variating thicknesses and are well damped with vertical and horizontal braces at several critical junctures for a very inert enclosure.

The Hyperexponential Carbon Fiber Cone Driver allows for a direct coupling of the woofer to the amplifier without any intervening crossover. This driver is to a great extent, the reason behind the Veena's great sound.
Bybee Quantum Purifier Upgrades for the Veena
4 standard Bybee Quantum Purifiers can be incorporated inside each speaker. They are incorporated internally at all of the binding posts. This way the incoming signal passes through the Purifiers and the musical benefit is passed on to all of the drivers. The result of the Bybee's noise removal is a more spacious soundstage, more natural musical decays, better harmonic layering, enabling one to hear the acoustic space of the performance without strain. The standard Bybee Purifiers are incorporated into the stock versions of the Episode and Grand Veena loudspeakers. Tweek Geek has arranged to make the Bybee Quantum Purifiers available in the other Reference 3A loudspeakers as well. Our standard upgrade will incorporate 4 Bybee Quantum purifiers per speaker, for a total of 8 Purifiers altogether.
The Veena with Super Effect Bybee Purifiers
The Veenas can also be outfitted with SE Bybee Purifiers. These are the same exact Purifiers used in the award winning Bybee Speaker Bullets. Our Level I upgrade places a Super Effect (SE) Purifier on each positive terminal of each set of binding posts (internally of course), and a standard Bybee Purifier internally on each negative binding post. That is a total of 2 Super Effect Bybees and 2 Standard Bybees. The Level II upgrade replaces all four standard Bybee Purifiers with Bybee SE Purifiers.
The Super Effect Purifiers are an quantum leap in performance over the Standard Bybee Purifierss. In addition to improved soundstage and air, transient speed, macro and micro dynamics and bass performance. the music simply has a relaxed, organic flow that sounds more like music. A perfect combination with the Reference 3A speakers. In fact, Jack Bybee himself (who could own nearly any speaker he wants) chose a pair of Grand Veenas with Bybee Super Effect Purifiers inside for his personal system.
