The Volent VL-3 is an amazing, gorgeously finished three-way loudspeaker that boasts a frequency response of 28 - 100,000 Hz. And yes, that is indeed the ATD-18W4004 7" graphite / titanium sandwich mid/woofer proudly used also by Magico's original Mini which sold for multiples more than what the VL-3 commands.
Twin Ribbon tweeter goes up to 100KHz
The Paragon VL - 3 is equipped with an LCY 2.5cm "Twin-Ribbon" tweeter.
3" Aluminum cone midrange drive unit
Paragon VL-3 also utilizes a 3" Jordan "spiderless" Aluminum cone mid-range.
7" Graphite/Titaninum Midbass
Equipped with a Graphite/Titanium sandwich based 7" woofer. The inner cone is made of Syntactic Polymer Hardfoam, th outer layer is Graphite with Titanium ionized and sprayed on its surface. The merits of using both Graphite with its elasticity and Titanium's stiffness are combined and to offer rich yet detailed bass performance.
In addition to the patented " Air " system, a specially designed Copper Faraday Ring counters the electomoive force, minimizing it. The result is the bass that is fast and detailed.

The Paragon VL-3 crossover is soldered by our senior engineers with Point-toPoint precision.
The Enclosure
The enclosure of the Paragon VL - 3 is finished like high end furniture. with 100% pure-wool filling and a 10mm aluminum back-plate that holds the crossover and binding posts.
