In the Velocitor, Walker Audio incorporates nothing in the power path to alter the power supplied. The Velocitor does not present your electronics with a transformer, inductive or resistive values, capacitance, surge protection, on/off switches or LEDs. All of these hurt the sound dramatically. The Velocitor just gives fast clean power unimpeded. This allows you to hear your system, unimpeded.

It has three high-conductivity duplex outlets treated with a deep immersion cryogenic process, isolated from each other and directionally wired with silver and copper solid core wiring – all cryogenically treated – making for a cleaner, faster power supply.

This in turn opens up the soundstage as never before resulting in a natural realistic musical presentation. The grit, grain and glare disappear and harmonics hang in the air as never before.  If used on video, a much improved realistic picture.

The Velocitor is designed and built for the best sound and video reproduction possible.  Walker Audio does not incorporate anything that would degrade the sound.   We have found with other power line conditioners we’ve tried that there is always a trade-off.  The noise floor may be lowered, but usually at the expense of the dynamics and/or loss of information.

If you try the Velocitor and think it may have a bright spot somewhere, I can assure you it's not the Velocitor. Rather, the Velocitor is revealing a resonance problem in your system and now that you can hear it, you can find and correct it. We recommend Audiopoints along with Sistrum stands and racks to help control resonances.

Description of Basic Velocitor: Maple, natural wood finish. 10 in. x 7 3/16 in. x 7 1/2 in. Six outlets, convenient external ground, IEC connector for custom power cord. Height measured with Valid Points on discs. Dedicated stand is optional.

Note: When comparing the Velocitor to other line conditioners, always unplug the other as it will interfere with the Velocitor’s performance. The Velocitor requires approximately one hour to warm up after being unplugged.
