StereoVox is now StereoLab, and along with the new name are new cable designs. These designs have undergone a significant upgrade from previous series, such that they have designated the 700 Series. Aside from processes (which remain StereoLab's intellectual property and trade secrets), among the advances in this series are:
Additionally, StereoLab has added power cords to the product line: The PC-700, and the PC-700 XL. The PC-700 is for line-level components, whereas the PC-700 XL is for high current applications such as amplifiers.
The STUDIO series of interconnect cables has evolved with several changes, as noted in the earlier section. Overall passive sheilding helps to block RF as the individual shields tie to the ground plane and provide a first-line of defense against interference. Removal of PVC from the outer jacketing material has lightened dielectric impact. Lastly, the Vespa RX-S version of the interconnect (which stems two leads from a single jacket) is now available with XLR termination.
