Galileo MPC  (Item #: Galileo-MPC)  Our Price: $399.00 The Galileo MPC comes standard with the new Galileo series of audio cables from Synergistic Research, but it can also be purchased separately to improve the performance of all Tesla series active shielded cables. The Galileo MPC is hand built, using point to point wiring with no circuit boards. It utilizes Vishay capacitors and Quantum Tunneled diodes. A five step Quantum Tunnelling process is used in building the Galileo MPC. First, the transformer Quantum Tunneled on its primary winding and a second time on its secondary winding in the direction of signal flow. Next, the Vishay capacitor is Quantum Tunneled, as are the diodes. The signal path is also Quantum Tunneled as are all contact points- the two AC blades, the lead wires and connectors. Zero Capacitance Active Shielding:
The TESLA Series improves upon typical active shielding with their new Zero Capacitance Active Shielding circuitry that significantly improves cable bandwidth, especially in the areas of low frequency extension and control, high frequency air and transparency, and sound stage depth and width. Compared to previous incarnations of Active Shielding, now in it's forth generation of development, TESLA Series cables unplugged and non-active now outperform older Synergistic Research cables that were plugged in and Active. Quantum Tunneling cable conditioning:
Quantum Tunneling is a proprietary process that changes the way a cable conducts signal at the sub atomic level. It affects the entire cable assembly- connectors, solder joints, dielectric, signal and ground conductors are all transformed and sonically integrated as a single unit.
