Wireworld
Wireworld HDMI CablesThe leader in HDMI cable technology Wireworld was the first to manufacture an aftermarket HDMI cable in 2004. Just one year later, Wireworld introduced the world to their award-winning flat HDMI cable design. The Silver Starlight 5. Since then, Silver Starlight 5 has become the HDMI reference standard for high-end video cable performance. In September 2005, years ahead of our competitors, Wireworld became the first manufacturer to label their HDMI cables with the official bandwidth/speed ratings specified by the HDMI Group. A full five years of technological leadership in the HDMI cable field has enabled Wireworld to produce a comprehensive range of cables that provide superior image quality and value at every price level. Transmission Speed: The whole story Transmission speed is a major factor in HDMI cable performance, and many well-known competitors claim that their HDMI cables are the fastest, but they fail to mention is that transmission speed is directly related to length. Other brands of HDMI cables simply cannot pass the highest official test; HDMI v1.3Category 1 (10.2 Gbps), at lengths of over 40 feet. Their cables need an amplifier or repeater to pass the test at lengths of over 40 feet. Wireworld HDMI cables feature die-cast metal connectors for superior durability and shileding. Their terminations also maintain the cable's precise 100-ohm impedance all the way to the contacts. Rather than plating contacts with standard nickel, Wireworld's contacts have a thick layer of silver under theri gold plating, which reduces contact losses by more than half.
