Transmission speed is a major factor in HDMI cable performance, and many well-known competitors claim that their HDMI cables are the fastest, but they fail to mention is that transmission speed is directly related to length. Other brands of HDMI cables simply cannot pass the highest official test; HDMI v1.3Category 1 (10.2 Gbps), at lengths of over 40 feet. Their cables need an amplifier or repeater to pass the test at lengths of over 40 feet. Wireworld HDMI cables feature die-cast metal connectors for superior durability and shileding. Their terminations also maintain the cable's precise 100-ohm impedance all the way to the contacts.
