Is this the solution for me? We recommend the Slim Devices Squeezebox and Transporter for audiophiles who are comfortable with PC wireless and wired networking (or know someone who is). The Squeezebox requires a PC (preferably with a spacious hard drive) and networking solution. It also requires the user to copy their music collection onto the PC's hard drive in the format of their choice (WMA, FLAC, MP3, etc.). The advantage of this solution is your music is stored in one location, and can be backed up easily. If you sell or upgrade your Squeezebox, you still have your music files. The disadvantage is it takes a little more time in setting up, and a few more steps to copy your music to hard disk. For those willing to go the extra mile, the results are very rewarding.
