Audio Cables
Audio Cables can no longer be considered as an accessory, they are every bit as important as your components. If you believe that, then you are at the right place! We have hand selected a few brands that, to our ears (and those of our listening panel) offer extraordinary performance and value. Performance in some cases that shames the "establishment audio" brand names. We do have a small cable library which one can borrow cables for an audition in their own system. Call us at 888-99-TWEEK if you would like to schedule and audition.

In-House Reviews of Audio Cable Brands
Audience Cables
- Audience continues to recieve Sterophile Recommended Component awards year in and year out. Their top of the line AU24 series offers a warm, balanced and extended sound. This sound continues throughout the line all the way down to the Conductor series. In our opinion, the Audience speaker cables are the best performers, with the interconnects yielding a very balanced, forgiving, but less airy sound than other brands.

Harmonic Technology
- Excellent bang for the buck audiophile cables. Our favorites are the Precision Link interconnects, Pro AC11 power cord, Photon Digital link and the Pro 9 Reference speaker cables. All of these offer up performance that belies their price point, and the other cable offerings are no slouches either. It is tough describing a "house sound" for Harmonic Tech cables, because there really isn't one. Call us if you have questions on matching Harmonic Tech cables to your equipment. Synergistic Research
- Nowhere else in our cable lineup does a brand represent our philosophy so well. The "Research" in Synergistic Research is for real. They painstakingly test, retest, and test again every cable throughout their line to ensure that 1) they sound better than any other cable in their price range, 2) the laborious construction methods and innovative designs they incorporate produce worthwhile benefits, not just marketing hype, and 3) that the cables have a consistent sound throughout the line, with only increasing amounts of resolution and holography as you move up the price points (The Acoustic Reference cable being the ONLY exception, but for a reason...). Their reference system, used to test minute changes in cables, offers up not only terrific sound, but acts like a sonic "electron microscope" allowing Ted (the designer/owner) the ability to accurately assess and compare his designs. The Result? A line of cables that does not have one single "dog" in it. with some of the most innovative, best sounding designs, all at a price point that should shame the "old guard" audio cable manufacturers whose advertising budgets are bigger than a small country's GDP. If you own Nordost, MIT, Siltech, etc., we highly encourage you to Take the Tesla Challenge - email sales@tweekgeek.com to try the Synergistic Tesla Series cables in your own system today. Silent Source
One word can sum up the Music Reference speaker, interconnect, and power cables from Silent Source; Musical. They simply make you forget about analyzing your system for what is missing or exaggerated, allow you to relax, and connect to the music. No sonic characteristic draws attention to itself, they just draw you in. The Signature series is excellent as well. Perhaps a touch less revealing in the midrange and treble, making them a bit warmer sounding.
Wireworld Wireworld cables are neutral to a touch on the cool side. As you move up the line, you make gains in dynamics and resolution. These cables are probably not the first choice one should make if their system is forward or bright, as they will let you know it right away. If your system sports tubes, or is on the warm side of neutral, the Wireworld line of cables may be a match made in heaven.
