Room Treatment
Your room is at least 33% of your audio system's performance.
It can make or break the musical performances reproduced through your audio equipment.
Any good system in a properly treated room with correct speaker placement (another 33% of your system's sound) will make your speakers literally disappear, and leave you with sound that wraps around you, transporting you to the recording venue. Tonality, timbre and transients will all be relaxed, organic and unfatiguing. With proper room tuning/treamtment and speaker placement, you will probably find yourself swapping out your equipment much less often.
We assume at this point that you have taken the time to properly set up and place your speakers for optimum performance.
Back to treating/tuning your room.
