The Modwright KWA 99 mono amplifiers are   compact in dimensions, but big on sound. Rated at 100 watts per channel, they have no problem driving ANY speaker. 
The amps are visually stunning with a milled aluminum faceplate and exposed, blue anodized heat sinks. Centered on the front of each amplifier is an analog vu meter with an adjustable backlight dimmer. The aesthetic speaks of quality construction with a nod to the past.
Internally, they use current production Exicon Lateral MOSFETs for unparalleled sound, performance, and reliability. There are balanced and unbalanced inputs, and a 12V trigger input allows for integration with the LS 99tube preamp. The KWA 99 amps offer the sound of Modwright's best amplifiers with an even greater degree of resolution, detail, and live sound.

Sound

We love the KWA 99's. They have a sound that is refined, along with power that can drive anything.
Our experience when used with the Steinmusic Bobby S Ultimate or Aurai Z165 was one of awe when we finally heard just how good the bass was from these speakers. We turned the subs off, and thoroughly enjoyed deep, fast, articulate, and tuneful bass the speakers could produce on their own. No other amp has done this to these speakers. It truly woke them up.
On the midrange, there is purity, dimension and musicality. This is the Modwright sound at it's best, but this time with a bit more silence, longer trailing decays, and that gorgeous tone. The highs are refined, neutral, lending air and space to the presentation, devoid of edge or splashiness.
The KWA 99's are a new level of performance for Modwright, and that is saying something.
