12th Gen Uni-Q Driver With MAT

KEF’s  latest version of their Uni-Q driver array delivers reduced coloration, less distortion and a sound that is more transparent and life-like than previously possible, all dispersed evenly throughout the room. Sound emanates from a single point on each loudspeaker due to the coaxial style driver array on the curved front baffle. The high frequency driver has a specially designed rear chamber that is tuned to absorb 99% of the Back wave energy. This means no smearing of the directly radiated sound by this back wave energy. The end result is striking clarity and resolution. The low frequency driver acts as a wave guide for the high frequency driver, giving the entire musical presentation an even response over a broad range of listening positions.
