Stillpoints Aperture Acoustic Treatment - 1944 Martin Print
Stillpoints Aperture 1944 Martin Print
Acoustic Room Treatment that focuses music and voice without room boundary interruption.
The Stillpoints Aperture acoustic treatments are uniquely designed to absorb a broad range of frequency reflections from bass to highs. They are very powerful, so you do not need to invest in a dozen, three or four usually do more than 10 or more of competing absorbers/diffusers. You can get them with oak, cherry or walnut frames with white, black or cream fabric.
- Choose from three natural wood frame species: Light Oak, Cherry, or Black Walnut.
- Match with one of three fabric colors: Cream, Black, or White
- Choose one of three optional fabrics from the Simon Marsh Print Collection for an additional $175. Simon Marsh Photography is on display in every issue of HiFi+ magazine.
- Submit your own image that is not copyright protected ($40.00 file setup fee and $225 print fee).
Standard Aperture wood/insert combinations are Light Oak/Cream, Cherry/Cream, and Black Walnut/Black. The Standard offerings are stocked by Stillpoints. Any other wood species/insert
combinations are considered custom orders and require additional lead time and possible upcharge.
You can for an additional charge have non-copyrighted art printed onto the fabric of the Aperture. This is a dye sublimation process that actually dyes the fabric, so that there is no acoustical degredation of the Aperture.
Using the Stillpoints Aperture in your room
In small to medium rooms we recommend starting with 3 panels. One placed on the wall behind the loudspeakers centered between them with the bottom edge at midrange tweeter height. The other two panels are placed at the first reflection points flanking either loudspeaker at the side walls. Again the bottom edge should be about midrange or tweeter height.
